Hi All,

I bought a Deco Mesh x50 (2 units).

My laptop start to have random unstable connection, when you browser, when you are in a Metting (Zoom/teams), using Remote Desktop.... is totally unstable... around 40 seconds without response.

Then start working fine... .maybe for 5 minutes, and repeat.

 

I used to use a Archer x23, and works perfect without any issue.
But this Deco x50 Is totally unstable.

Any idea?

Hi, welcome to the community.

Is the laptop connected to the 5Ghz WiFi of Deco? or via an Ethernet connection?

  • If it is connected by Wifi, please try to disable "Mesh Technology" on the Deco APP for the laptop.>>Fix unstable connection when connected to the Deco network(case 3)
  • Please also set the laptop as a high priority.
  • Temporarily Turn off "Fast roaming" and "Beamforming" under Deco APP>More>Advanced.

 

By the way, were you having the same issue with other mobile clients?

Hi  @David-TP 

I will do that, and let you know the results.

I didnt notice this in any other device. I did not try yet using the chromecast with netflix for example.

I will start with the laptop fix, and the use others devices to test.

Is my first week with the Deco.

 Hi @David-TP ,

The option disable "Mesh Technology", for the Laptop works perfect!

 

Now I don't have unstable connection anymore.

EDIT --> The issues come back.

Works just for a couple of hours and then again unstable connection
