Virgin Hub3 to Archer C64 - speed capped at 100Mbps, change of negotiation speed causing no Internet
I recently bought an Archer C64 as I was unhappy with the reliability of the Wifi signal on my Virgin Hub 3.
I have a 250Mb line and was getting up to this speed through the Virgin Hub wifi although on an unreliable connection.
Have connected my Archer C64 and it's working, however the speed is capped at 100Mbps.
After looking around on forums already I understand I need to change the Internet Port Negotiation Speed - was on Auto Negotiation but changed to 100Mbps/Full Duplex.
Since doing this my router has completely lost internet connection from the Virgin Hub.
The only way for me to resolve was to change the setting back to Auto Negotiation which makes the speed go back to <100Mbps.
Any advice? As I cannot see any info on the 1000Mbps negotiation speed causing loss of internet connectivity.
