Hi, welcome to the community.
Could you please help me check the product label on the RE450 to see whether it is an EU, US, or IN version?
May I know the model number of your main router? I think it might work on band 4( channel 149-167) on 5ghz which caused RE450 to fail to detect its 5ghz.
If possible. it is suggested to edit the main router 5ghz to band 1, like channel 48.
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

During the setup, if there is no JIO 5ghz signal, would RE450 be able to detect other 5Ghz signals?
RE450(EU) does not support band 4 on 5ghz, while I have seen many users in India report that the 5ghz on their main router worked on band 4/Channel 149/157.
(You could also download a Wi-Fi Analyzer on the mobile to test its current 5ghz channel, for example)
If this is the case, Since it does not support changing the wireless channel settings on the RE450, you might have to find a way to log into the management page on the router to edit the wireless settings.
By the way, how long have you had the RE450?
Best regards.
