Model: Archer C60
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.0 Build 20161206 rel. 54846

I have no issues with a larger number of my devices connecting to 2.4 Ghz of my Archer C60 except for one Chromebook. The only way I can get it to connect to 2.4 Ghz is if I enable Guest Network and have no password enabled. If it's not Guest Network, I get an error on the Chromebook and can't connect. Even if it's Guest Network with a password enabled I get an error. This is not an ideal situation as my daughter needs to use this device for school work. This device has no problem connecting to 5 Ghz of Archer C60 but 2.4 Ghz is a stronger signal where this device is used.

Similar (maybe same) issue and solution was reported for TP-Link Omada EAP here --> https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/235110?sortDir=ASC&page=2

Any such solution for Archer C60?

@jevergreens

Hi,

If only this Chromebook failed to connect to the 2.4G network, I would suggest checking and updating the wireless adapter driver on the Chromebook first, then try to connect to the 2.4G network again.

You can also try different wireless channels for the 2.4G network on the C60, and choose a lower security for a try as well. You may choose WPA/WPA2-Personal, Auto as follows:
