Model: Archer C7
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 3.15.3 Build 180114 Rel.39265n

I have a TP-LINK AC1750 C7 V2 that I'm using as an access point and I would like to disable the Wifi.
It turns out that it is not possible in the settings, to disable the Wifi I need to activate a switch (on/off) that is close to the power button. It turns out that the switch (on/off) in question is hard, that is, stuck. Is it difficult to to move the key or is it a defect?
Grateful for the attention.

Yes, it did (but not so smoothly) when I owned this HW v2:

Try to put some more pressure when sliding it. There's a little gap on the button itself, which you can use for a better grip - use a pin, paperclip, etc.

I opened the router and worked with a small screwdriver, on the base of the switch and not on the tip.
With that I was able to move the switch. Wifi is now off.
I tried to move the switch by acting on the end, as before, WITHOUT SUCCESS.
That is, to turn it on and off just by acting on the base of the switch and not on the tip.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Do you mean the Wi-Fi ON/OFF switch on your device is broken?

Are you still able to disable the Wi-Fi on the router web management page? You can go to Wireless 2.4GHz and Wireless 5GHz, then uncheck the Enable SSID Broadcast as follows:

Hi.
Thanks for your response.
I don't know if the key is broken. It has never been used. Now that I've tried using it, I can't move it left or right, or should I press it?
I had unchecked Enable SSID Broadcast on both bands.
My question is that the Wifi led remains lit on the front leds of the router.
So I understood that the frequencies are still being made available.
I want to avoid conflict with Wifi from Mesh devices.
Best regards.

Disabling SSIDs broadcast just stops broadcasting their name (SSIDs). To disable the wireless radio you have to use the button on the back of the router:

This button (for Archer C7 v2) should be slid left or right:

Here's a guide on that matter.

So... the key is stuck, I can't switch.
Does your Wifi switch slide smoothly between on and off?
