Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Deco M4 does not hold position and connects to main Deco

I have 5 Deco M4 connected, and i want/need them to be in a straight line. As you see in the picture, there are 2 conecting to the main Deco and i can't change his location.

How can i solve this?

Thank you

Pedro Lourenço

  @PedroLourenco

If you have M4 with hardware V4, there is beta firmware which will let you do that: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/581554

If it is really hardware V3 as you listed, the only way is to connect two Deco M4 with Ethernet cable. If you want to have Cozinha connected to Corredor, these two need to be linked with Ethernet cable.

  @Alexandre. Actually is V2!

they were working well, but since last firmware update, corredor moved and I noticed because i stoped having internet in the other 3.

there must be something I can do. This way the hardware serves me nothing!

@PedroLourenco You need to wait for the next firmware where they support for manual signal source selection will be included

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it
