Debating the returning to supplier due to constant issues of the Deco X50 AX3000
I'm now debating on whether to return this device to the supplier as not fit for the purpose it was purchased for or not and put up with it by running in AP mode to another router, which means more expense :( or going back to an old pc setup using OpnSense as the router (which makes paying £200 for AP's is not worth it and may as well go back to the Deco M5).
The main reason for this is the constant bugs and limitations when being used as a router and running as an AP doesn't justify the price tag.
My main issues are as follows
1) Devices joining the network which aren't ours and unable to track them, so having to constantly block them
2) Hue Lights constantly going offline and being unreachable (never had an issue in the past 3 years until I switched to the X50)
3) Nest Thermostat constantly going offline (never had an issue in the past 3 years until I switched to the X50)
4) Constantly requires manual network optimisation
5) Loss of lan network when internet goes down - the lan side should still function even if no internet access
6) Unable to assign lease time for clients
7) Devices constantly being renamed
