adding VDSL configuration to ADSL

Hello,
I have a TP-LINK Archer VR300 with working ADSL2_plus configuration.
I want to add a VDSL configuration with (VDSL2, Annexe A , and VLAN 12), but without deleting ADSL configuration (I will let DSL modulation on AUTO), I want to know if VDSL failed to connect, the modem will switch to the second configuration ? or only one configuration work and it will failed to connect ?

You could add an additiional internet connection here:
without deleting the current Internet connection you have.
There's no failover mechanism so VR300 won't switch between those two internet connections automatically - it's one at a time.
But you can set the "backup" internet connection's mode as "Manually" when it's not needed and set it to "Auto" when it's needed (main internet connection failover) and vice versa:
