Hello, i connect my tp-link archer ax55 v1 to the isp cablemodem. The isp provide 500 mb and is good when connect the PC direct to cablemodem, but when i connect the pc to the tp-link, the bandwidth down to 300 mbps. I use ethernet cable for conection, no under wifi, and this is power of whithin a test is running.
Have you ever changed the QoS settings on the AX55? Make sure it is disabled as per this FAQ.
You can also try resetting the AX55 to factory defaults, just connect it to the cable modem and set up the internet, don't change or modify any other settings, then test the speed to see if that is normal. If yes, then try to modify the settings as requested one by one to monitor which one causes the speed drop.
