I have an Archer AX50 router, which has been working well for some time.

I tried setting up a WA850RE range extender by using the WPS method as described ... but in the process the router stopped broadcasting both dual band wifi networks and I lost all internet connection. I couldn't even connect to the Internet via the range extender.

The only thing I could think of doing was to reset the router. I then had to start from scratch setting it up again.

Now I'm a bit nervous to try setting up the range extender again. I don't want to lose Internet as the whole family uses it for home and business purposes.

Does anyone have any guidance?
