Hi TP Link Team, 

 

I connect my wifi repeater via lan cable which can run at 500mbps and up. I tested the lan cable connected directly to my pc which I can get 500mbps upwards. But after connecting the lan cable to the repeater and then pc connected to the repeater via wifi, it can only get 10-20mbps. I thought it was advertised to provide speeds up to 300mbps? 

 

My internet plan is 500mbps. Anyone experience the same issue? Or are there any way to fix this?

Hi, TL-WA855RE has 1 x 10/100Mbps Ethernet Port so if the main router is capable of 500m/s, I think you might get the wrong product.

And you could pick a Gigabit one, like RE450/650.

Hi, I know it can only provide up to speed of 100mbps. Just that why does it not produces speed anywhere near to the 100mbps speed? It's barely 2/10th of the advertised speed
