Hi - I have connected my new TL-SG105 5 port Gigabit Desktop Switch to the internet source, and then plugged in 2 ethernet cables connected to 2 laptops, but only one laptop receives internet. On the switch one green light is flickering but the other green light is just solid green. Switching cables, adapters and laptops around shows that both cables, adapters and laptops are functioning, yet no matter how I configure it only one laptop receives internet when both are connected. Any idea what the problem might be?

If your internet facing device is in bridge mode, that will explain the described behavior - only one laptop at a time can get an IP address.

Other possible reason is that your laptops are sharing the same IP address and that causes an IP conflict - that's less probable.

The way you can determine what's the case, is to check the IP address of each of the laptops when they are connected successfully (one at a time).
