Model: Archer C20
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version:

Hi All ,  I received a new laptop from my company which is dell 9520 XPS 15  .  I am using tplink c20 router which supports 5ghz and 2.4 GHz . I tried to connect my laptop to 5GHZ it is not connecting but my other devices are already connected to 5Ghz and working fine . So I thought its a device problem and I configured everything on  device but no use .

I tried to connect to my friend's D-link router with 5GHZ connection and my dell 9520 is connecting to my friend's wifi 5GHZ perfectly.

So t's, not dell issue. i think it might be config issue of my router .

can someone please help me on this

@Manu_2355

You'd better check if there is any special setting on the C20 that may block the Dell laptop from connecting to the network, such as access control.

You can also try modifying the 5G wireless settings on the C20, you can try different 5G channels, change the channel width to 80MHz, and change the security to WPA2-PSK, AES. Be sure the Smart Connect is disabled first (it C20 supports smart connect).
