Hi guys,

 

We have 6 M4 and three m5. Everything works fine.

But I can't access the network settings via the DECO app since I changed it to Access Point mode. 

 

Since I had to add one more, I had to reset all devices and set everything up from scratch.

 

Can the settings be accessed via the app when the decos are in access point mode?

You don't need to access network settings to add one more Deco. It could be added under Access Point mode directly:

Maybe I was not precise enough. I can't even connect to the network itself. My deco network is not available anymore, as soon as I switch to Access Point mode.

Means: No chance to add another device.

In normal situation, you can access Deco mesh settings in Access Point mode and add devices to Deco mesh. I've been running Deco mesh in AP mode for last two years, during that time increased number of Deco nodes I have from 2 to 4, made changes to WiFi configuration (SSID/password) and so on. 

 

I can't tell what is wrong with your Deco app and Deco mesh, but something is wrong with it. Screenshot from my Deco APP in Access Point mode:
