Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.5.5 Build 20220823 Rel 41353

Recently I had to hard reset my Deco M4r Ver2 US, (purchased in Bangladesh) router, consequently, the router lost its capability to connect with the Bangladesh Samsung devices in 5GHz mode. Note that the Router firmware (for Bangladesh) was provided by a Tp-link service personnel.  Now after hard resetting the router, my international Android TV and HP laptop can connect in 5GHz mode, however, my Samsung Galaxy phones can not connect in 5Ghz mode any more (only 2.4 MHz connection is possible now).

Please note, most client devices in Bangladesh supports only 149-165 channels, however, my deco broadcasts around the channel 44 by default.

Can one point me a link where the firmware for Bangladesh Deco M4r Ver2 (US) may be obtained so that my Samsung phones can again connect to the router in 5 GHz mode? Thanks.

  @AsadulHuq

Thanks for the feedback and I got your email as well.

I see you mentioned in the email that apart from a factory reset, there is also a firmware upgrade.

May I know the original firmware version before updating to 1.5.5?

If the original firmware supports band 4 for 5ghz, after updating to 1.5.5, you will still have band 4 for 5ghz.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
