Firmware Version: 1.0.0 0.8.0 v600e.0 Build 220626 Rel.52987n

The model is not on the list. I'm writing for Archer vr1200v. I found a thread written in 2019 with the same problem. I'm trying to understand if it's and ISP problem or a router. I've already asked the ISP to verify the line. When the drop happens, the internet connection light goes off, but the DSL connection light is ON. I've already made the last firmware update. 
Any opinion? Thank you!

Hi, 

the following details might help us narrow down the problem:

1. Would there still be an internet IP address under Advanced status?

2. Would restart the modem restore the internet service temporarily?

3. If possible, you could do a simple test:

  • set up Archer VR1200v to bridge mode.(Normally it is under Advanced>Network>internet>internet connection type)

1. I haven't noticed in the Advanced status but in the Basic status, everything is zero (IP, DNS, Gateway) while the modem tries to reestablish the connection.

2. Restarting the modem restores the connection almost immediately. If I wait without restarting, it will take about 15-20 minutes but after rebooting, the connection is back on.

3. I've had the confirmation from my ISP that the line is OK so in this case it must be the router.

 

I will try to do the test you've suggested if there is no other solution for the moment.

I can confirm you now that the IP address under Advanced status is 0.0.0.0
