@GuiPoM Hi, These kinds of promotion notifications could be turned off individually in the Deco APP:

@David-TP Oh, great, I was not aware that there is a setting in the side menu. Thanks !
A nice addition, but not required, would be to define the same categories when declaring the android notifications so that the framework also defines these categories and we can configure the notification (sound, vibration, active or not ...) according to the category.

Hi,
I have found discrepancy between FAQ documentation and actual screen in Deco app 3 for Android.
FAQ document General questions about Ethernet Backhaul feature on your Deco
In Q2 Item 4, it says: " On the Deco app>Network Map page, you can see the Deco connects to the source Deco via Wi-Fi or Ethernet."
With the following screenshot:
In Deco app 3 for Android, with two my Satellite Deco (Office, Study) connected by Ethernet and another (Bedroom) by WiFi to Main Deco, there is nothing to tell how each is connected:

Hi, Thanks for the feedback. I did see the same issue on the iPhone about the WiFi signal. Then I run the same test on the Android, It seemed fine.
I have reported to the senior engineers and will update here with further progress.
By the way, will you get this result all the time when running Wi-Fi Diagnostics?
Alexandre. Hi, it was added to Deco APP 3.0 before to display the backhaul of each satellite Deco, but later for unknown reasons, the engineers decided the backhaul type would only show up when there are no more than two satellite Deco nodes. If there are more than 3 Deco nodes, the backhaul will be hidden again. So it is still recommended to check the Backhaul type under the Deco settings and the FAQ will be updated very soon. Thank you very much.
Hawklord, Hi, "force connect a specific client to a specific Deco" is a feature that depends on the software of Deco. When the firmware of your Deco has added this feature, you will see a signal source selection on the Deco APP as well.
And I happen to see your current Deco is Deco M9 plus and maybe you will be interested in the 1.6.0 beta firmware here:
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Is it possible to add schedule in the app or on the deco?
I would like to disable my 5ghz band between midnight and 8am everyday. (each deco unit is using ethernet backhawl)
I'd like as well ability to disable a deco if not used (like I have a pool house) and i don't use it in winter, i'd like option to disable it instead of plug it off
thanks

@akapal ,
What you are seeing are the internal Deco Mesh Upload and download numbers. They have nothing to do with your ISP bandwidth.

@David-TP it seems the download speed is shown wrongly. It's supposed to be 3Mbps but the Deco app on iPhone shows 33Mbps.

Hi, arktiknova, I think DAServices explained it correctly and the APP speed in the device settings is the real-time internal speed within LAN. It is not the same as what you have seen via SpeedTest via Ookala SpeedTest for example. So sometimes you will see it blank "--" or more than the actual speed you have got on the device.
Best regards.
