Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.5.1

I have two problems:

- Sometimes deco light  is green but i have  "connected but no internet"  in devices wifi

- the deco becomes red

these two issues may happen many times throughout a day. While some days things are OK.

My solution is always power off deco(s) and start again!!

Here are  the info you asked about in the Help section of the APP.

I have 3 m9 decos 1 main and two more.

1.  the deco is about 11 meters direct path (same floor no walls in between),the second is above the main (another floor) concrete ceiling in between (around 5 meters away).

2. Sometimes i lose internet with green light. While sometimes it is solid red.

3. the  problem (i think) happenning with both branch decos.

4. I get the  internet back by powering them of and on again.

5. I don't know how to get the network map

6. my ID is the same as my email here and deco is m9

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.

I have two problems:

- Sometimes deco light  is green but i have  "connected but no internet"  in devices Wi-Fi

- the deco becomes red

May I know which one repeated more frequently?

When Deco lost its connection, have you tested whether the ISP modem was still working fine?

And may I know how long you have had Deco?

Were you still getting a valid IPV4 settings when Deco turned red?

Currently, the 1.6.0 beta firmware is ready for Deco M9 plus and if you are interested, maybe you could try to update M9 to the latest 1.6.0 firmware.

Deco M9 Plus 1.6.0

Thank you very much.

Answes to your questions:

When Deco lost its connection, have you tested whether the ISP modem was still working fine?

I beilive "YES" , because when sattelite deco lose connection, I move to the rooom that has the main deco, the internet is working fine.

And may I know how long you have had Deco?

Around 3 years.

Were you still getting a valid IPV4 settings when Deco turned red?

I don't now!

Hi, Did the current issue just start recently?

If Deco could not get IPV4 address from modem, I think the internet connection from modem to Deco might be unstable sometimes.

Please replace the cable between main Deco and modem if you haven't tried before.

Then refer to this link and change a new unit as the main Deco:How to Setup the Satellite Deco to be the Main Deco?

And except for Deco, do you have a spare router or if the ISP modem is actually a moddem-router combination, you could change Deco into access point:

How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode

Since you had it for 3 years, it also had the possibility that some part of Deco was broken.

Best regards.
