Deco x90 keeps channel switching 80mhz/160mhz
I have had performance issues for months now, finding out the network congested issue was a known issue with no fix, but I've noticed my either of my 2 x90 in AP mode will go from channel 40 80mhz to 160mhz to 80mhz in seconds, or vice versa. it doesn't seem to be stable enough to stick. Is there a fix for this?

@slickshoes Hi, Thanks for the feedback.
The 5G-2 of Deco X90 use band 1 and band 2 to achieve 160mhz and band 2 has DFS channels that are generally reserved for radar, such as military radar, satellite communication, and weather radar. Sometimes in order to avoid the interference, users might not be able to get full use of 160mhz.
So far have you noticed any performance issue when the 5ghz bandwidth kept changing from 40mhz-80mhz-160mhz?
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Hi, so far Deco does not support fixing channel and channel width to a specific one.
Can I have more details about your current issue when channels go from 80>160>80>160 almost every few seconds, such as any specific device dropped the connection or the internet speed is fluctuating? So I could check with the engineers whether it is related to the channel width and any suggestion could be provided.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

@David-TP I cannot explain what issue happens when it occurs it just always occurs as far as I can tell from my 21' macbook pro. Both my phone (12 max pro) and the macbook barely get over 400Mbps. I have 2GB fiber internet using the 5GB port out > cat6e line > 2.5GB uplink on the main AP (i've disconnected the other for now), i get nowhere near the speeds i should be expecting from wifi 6 capable devices especially if they can reach 1,200 at 80mhz. With a silent network, things disconnected and isolated tests from either device, I get nothing more than about 400Mbps on average.
do i need to RMA these APs and get a replacement? rebooting or swapping main deco does not seem to help. the firmware on these x90's are on the latest version.
