Smart connect isn't smart.
Smart connect needs some tweaking, or some more options to adjust it for the user
At the moment, ill connect to the network at wifi6, 1.2Gbps, then without moving, after 5 seconds this will fall to around 300Mbps . It will stay like this for a bit until the device is idle for a bit, at which point it has changed to the 2.4Ghz band at 1-2Mbps and will stay that way until a) you move really close to the router, im talking 2 meters away or b) you turn of and on wifi, restarting this cycle.
I havent seen a router fall too 1Mbps since my BT Home Hub 2.0 in 2009.
For a £150 router, this is poor considering the ISP included router could atleast maintain 100Mbps from the same location and not drop.
I don't want to separate the bands, Its annoying and not something I should have to do.
Thanks.
