Model: Archer VR400
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.5.0 0.9.1 v0070.0

My package by fibre optics:

300 Mbps Download / 300 Mbps Upload

I have tp-link ac1200 archer vr400 v2

I set it to use the "wireless router mode" to turn the port 4 into WAN.

I connected the Ethernet cable from a fibre optic Wirlesss router Lan port to wan port 4 in tp-link ac 1200 archer vr400 v2 to use it as access point.

But the max download speed 90 - 100 Mbps, max upload speed 80 - 90 Mbps it should be 300 Mbps Download / 300 Mbps Upload.

is the hardware of the vr400 v2 incapable of handling 300/300 Mbps speeds as access point in a router mode?

What can I do? I couldn't find in the specs any mention of this hardware limitation.

Thank you for your help.

  @MohammadSleem

Here's the guide for setting VR400 in AP mode.

Keep the VR400 in DSL Modem Router mode.

Connect your main router to VR400 (LAN=>LAN4/WAN), you should be able to avoid the double NAT from VR400.

VR400 v2 specs show that its 3 other LAN ports (LAN 1-3) are only 10/100 mbps capable.

That means you should use VR400 wireless radio only if you want to reach connection speed over 100 mbps.

If you still can't reach speed more that 100 mbps then check the VR400 LAN4/WAN port negotiated speed:

If it's not 1000mbps check/replace the ethernet cable between devices - it should be CAT 5E/6 and re-check the negotiated speed.
