Model: RE450
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.10 Build 211207 Rel.62804n

Hey, i have a question i have dualband router with 5GHz and 2.4GHz the network chooses automatically between these two frequencies. And should i split it to 2.4GHz and 5GHz to make extender work better or i can leave it like that? Because sometimes 2.4GHz stops working and i have to rechoose network for 2.4Ghz extender network. And i dont know to leave it at dualband or split it in router settings. Sorry  if something is unclear with my English.

You could disable Smart Connect feature on your router and test if this way the connection is more stable in your environment.

If you use OneMesh between your main router and the RE450 that shouldn't be a problem - check this thread's solution.

Check this guide on how to place your RE for optimal performance.

In general you would get the most stable connection if you set the RE450 in AP mode - user guide - Chapter 6.2.1.

It depends on your environment if it's feasible to wire the main router and the RE450.
