Deco P9 Noise

I have 3 Deco P9 units purchased through Amazon in June 2022. They are all working, but 2 of them have developed an annoying and continuous high pitched buzzing noise.
Is there a fix for this?

Hi, welcome to the community.
Since Deco P9 v1 has been out of stock for quite a long time and most of them for sale are V2, did you purchase a refurbished product from Amazon?
The noise itself does not affect the network performance and if you do worry about the noise, it is suggested to return the V1 and get a new pair of V2.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Hi,
Many thanks for the response. Yes they were indeed purchased as refurbished from Amazon. I have been in touch with them and they have accepted the return. I have now placed an order for 3 new P9 units which I hope will arrive as V2 or later!
Thanks again.

I seem to have the same noise described. In my 3 Decos, but they're a little over two years old now. Is there any way to get rid of it?

@jpasan - There is now way to cure the noise, which should only be apparent on hardware Version 1 units. I replaced mine with Version 2's and so far they're fine.

The warranty expired. Guess I'll go to a kit supporting WiFi 6 now. I was able to create an ethernet backhaul, so no need for the powerline any longer.
