Just spoke to a TP-Link support agent. Got confirmation that Matter is supported via WiFi only on my Deco X50 v1.0 (Canada hardware).

 

Please add support for Matter over Thread on this hardware (if possible??).

And please also make sure that the Deco X50 can act as a Thread border router as well.

Yes please, I've been waiting nearly 1 year now for matter and thread on my XE75V2 which was "planned" when i bought it. Disappointed its taking so long to implement.
