Model: Archer VR400
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.4.0 0.9.1 v0070.0 Build 220126 RC.50521n

Hello,

I use the Archer router to extend my home network through a powerline adapter and recently the 5GHz Wireless Network stopped working & got disabled, although the 5G LED on the router is still on.

From the Wireless settings I tried to Enable 5GHz (2.4G is enabled, has a different Network Name SSID and is working fine), but when I tick on the box and click save I get the "Error code: 1 Internal error" message.

I tried the following:

  • I updated to the latest firmware, tried to re-enable 5GB but didn't work
  • I reset the router settings by pressing the reset button for 15secs, tried again but didn't work.

What should I try next? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Marion

Hi, How long have you had the modem? I think it's time to contact the shop retailer to ask for a replacement.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
