Allow us to connect to our home network with Deco Infrastructure. This will be huge feature for everyone for their privacy. We had OpenVPN Server for Archer A6 and other routers but why not with Deco Devices . Advantage we have is Deco is all based on App so no need for extra config to be made. 

 

 

Everyone who thinks this is one major feature upvote this feature for tp link to integrate inbuilt VPN Service to deco devices.

  @TandelK I agree with this. My post was deleted...not sure why.

 

It is silly that Deco only supports PPTP and L2TP Protocols. OpenVPN should be the route forward here. Many VPN SPs do not even support these old VPN options.

 

I'd like to see this on the W6000 series.

Hi, Thank you very much for your time and patience.

The latest firmware for Deco X50/Deco X55 starts supporting OpenVPN, PPTP/L2TP/IPsec VPN server/client.

Early Release VPN/Static Route/MTU Firmware for Deco X50/X55

For other models, It might still need some time.

WireGuard support would be my top request. As client, but also as server.

  @David-TP  Is it possible to develop VPN Mode with Deco App itself ? Like people can connect to their Deco Devices using the Deco App itself instead of relying on 3rd party options. We can keep this 3rd party options but also introduce a way to connect to the device using Deco App itself. 

This can be the easiest function as everyone don't have to manage a special 3rd party tool to connect.
