Sorry for the delayed response, here are some configuration guide that should help with the installation.

[Troubleshooting] Has connected to TP-Link extender but no internet, what can I do?

 

If set up failed, it is recommended to check the Led status of RE and try suggestion in the troubleshooting guide, you may examine the Wifi password of router if the signal/Wifi led is still off on the range extender.
