@haytona agree!
The cheaper M5 has better support and newer features then the more expensive M9 Plus ?!
@TP-Link, with modular developed software, it would not be hard to keep the M5 and M9 in sync concerning new features.

My andriod app just activatede the update to V1.6.2 for my DECO M9 plus devices.
Strange thing is that only my V1 devices have been updated to version V1.6.2 while my V2 devices are still V1.6.1.
How come???
The website has only V1.6.1 available for download to be able to manually update my devices.
Has V1.6.2 only been released for V1 devices?!?
By the way, website has only V1.6.1 available for V1 and V2 devices.

That there is a V2 version of release 1.6.2 I know. At my other place all V2 devices upgraded to V1.6.2.
The issue is when you have mixed versions. In my case V1 and V2. My main router is a V1 device.
Somehow all V1 devices where upgraded to v1.6.2 but the V2 devices in the same network where not 😞
I hoped that the releases where available for download on the website but it seems to be not.
Got stuck for the moment with updated V1 devices and not updated V2 devices.
Not able to tell why ...

My advice to you is to download the latest firmware suitable for your device from the web and install it with the help of a computer, if your device does not detect it automatically. I did this in the previous version.

@mrcoco I'm not brave enough to update a two-day old version of tplink. I do not trust. I'll wait a while before updating
