Hello
In my case the M9 PLus V2 are connected by cable (wired).
With firmware 1.6.0 the bandwidth was half that provided by the operator.
I downgraded to version 1.5.6 and e-mail support. They tell me to do some tests, and then send me the firmware 1.6.1
After transferring the TP-LINK firmware 1.6.1, and update (all m9 plus), I had the speed contracted with the ISP again (wired), new features, such as scheduling a weekly reboot, etc. and a significant increase in Wi-Fi speed.
Wifi speed test:

I recommend TP-LINK release the firmware for everyone.

How did you manage to get it from TP Link? I thought only @Dekonass was given the new firmware by 1.6.1??

I'm done waiting. Today 1 of the m9 plus deco died. Because of this, the slow firmware releases and lack of freedom in configurations I decided to go for a new set of Asus mesh routers.
Bye TPlink, you have lost me as a customer.

Tqvm for the link. I have downloaded the file. I also have Ver 1. So have to wait till Tplink posts the link for that.

Hi, It's great to know that the beta firmware is able to fix your previous issue. However since this firmware is still under optimization, would you please remove it first?
If other users would like to test the firmware, we would appreciate it if you could suggest they contact us directly.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Thanks for sharing, TP-Link support doesn't know this firmware exist and they are the same department that helped me going back to 1.5.6 in the first place lol.
However, is this better than 1.5.6 in terms of WiFi speeds and everything else? or what do you mean?
