Yeah I'd be down to try an updated one. The 1.6 from 0823 is terrible so many device issues even with fast roaming and mesh turned off.

Hi xQuantum,
I'm currently working through a similar issue with support on the current 1.5.x firmware where 2.4GHz devices can't connect to my ethernet-backhaul connected satellite, but my problem only occurs if I let the Decos reboot in an uncontrolled manner. If I boot the main Deco and let it setting down (green light), then boot the satellites one at a time and let them settle, then boot the ethernet-connected satellite it all works perfectly.
Does your issue persist if you boot your Deco's in this sort of structured way? Just interested as it might be a similar problem to mine.

@David-TP , I'm wondering why feedback and interaction always takes that long for this beta testing?
I'm (we're) facing this unstability for over 2 weeks without any progress.
This will not encourage me to do any future beta testing *ever* when we ever reach a stable release.

Hi @David-TP ,
Here some first feedback on the 1.6.0 Build 20220908 Rel. 64420:
1. Upgrade of 1 Deco M9+ failed. Usually, I execute the upgrade twice (since it fails often), but this time, it looks like I'm unable to execute 2 times the same upgrade. Result: 1 Deco sticks on the previous version.
2. The Web-interface is buggy and shows a kind of black icons for the Deco's
3. Unable to load the System status: webinterface stuck. BTW: After a few days, I need to reboot the Main Deco before I can access the webinterface again.

I would strongly advice NOT TO INSTALL the latest 2 updates, as they are only getting worst. Horrible to say so.
So, Deco_M9_V2_1.6.0_220823 and Deco_M9_V2_1.6.0_220908 are really junk.
Ever 3 to 5 minutes, my phone is disconnected (while just laying on the table).
Please don't install any more updates if you still want a useful network. JUNK.

The downgrade fails here. I loaded several older versions (1.5.3, 1.5.6) to a Deco, but the device doesn't connect to the main deco anymore.
So, be aware that even the "recovery" tool seems to fail.
"Reliable smart", they say... What a joke.
