Hey,

I have two x20 decos. 

Is there a minimal distance the main Deco should be from the router?

Our house is under renovation and I'd want to place the main deco in the center of the house while having the router near the front door, as that is where the fiber connects to the house.

The short answer is NO, there is no minimal or maximum distance that the Main Deco needs to be from the ISP router.  

 

The majority of times I have setup deco for friends / family, I would disable the WiFi on the ISP router and literally place the Deco node on top / beside it.   That way the ISP router is not giving out any WiFi, its just serving internet to the Main Deco.
