Hello Team,

I am experiencing connection drops on 2.4Ghz, it's not even showing in the devices. Previously also I faced the same issue and I connected to a service center engineer over a call, he recommended some settings which I did, after it starts working but after 2 days again the same issue I started facing. The firmware is also up to date, channel number is 11 and channel width is 40MHz. Please help me to resolve this issue ASAP.

Thanks,

Monis

Hello @Monis

Thank you for reaching out to us and welcome to the TP-Link community.

Do you mean the 2.4G signal may disappear when it stops working? Only the 2.4G connection drops, wired and 5G connection are good? If that is the case, it's suggested to review the wireless networks around you via a Wi-Fi analyzer and try to choose one with less interference with others, then monitor the connectivity. You may follow this FAQ to troubleshoot further.

Hello Kevin, In my case, 2.4Ghz band is not working, however the 5Ghz is working fine. 2.4G SSID is not appearing in the devices. I am not using wired LAN in my home.

@Monis

If that is the case, I assume the wireless 2.4G might be broken, please continue discussing this with the local tech support to be advised further.

  @Kevin_Z

Do you want me to go at TP link service center and ask them for the solution?
