Technophob Help!
Just jumped on to ask for help. I have no idea what I'm doing. I have just purchased the TP Link successfully (I think) but in the instructions say once you have paired with your router the WiFi address for the extender will disappear. It hasn't. I can still see it in the list of wifi connections available.

Here is guide to help you check if RE has been configured successfully, if the circle of Signal Leds or Wifi Led slights up, range extender has connected to Wifi router.

@Solla-topee Your reply really helped. Could I just ask though. Do I have to keep switching between the two Wi-Fi's? I have two showing on the list of available wifi, both the same but one has _EXT. If I use my mobile upstairs I tend to change the WiFi to the _EXT one!! Do I need to do this? Sorry if I'm asking a stupid question. 🙈.

Hello @AnnS-12Marl_60
Most nowadays mobile phone support Wi-Fi roaming, they will choose to roam to a better Wi-Fi signal itself when the connected Wi-Fi signal become weaker or unstable, so you do not need to manually switch between Wi-Fis. When device roam from router Wi-Fi to extender Wi-Fi, there could have a few secs cut off in wifi roaming.
If you wish only have one Wi-Fi SSID in the house, you could the same SSIDs for router and range extender.
