Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 Build 20211222 rel.74632(5553)

I've found several similar posts, some of which offer a "solution" that is anything but.  We have an Archer AX73 that was purchased and entered service in February 2022. In the wake of a service outage we discovered this router is severely restricting our internet speeds.  Speeds achieved are typically in the 90-93 mbps range, while we are paying for much higher speeds from our provider.

Using the web interface I noticed the WAN ethernet port is labeled 100mbps, and can find no means of changing this setting.

I purchased a new Cat 6 ethernet cable and installed at the time of setting up this router. T-shooting, I've swapped other Cat 6 cables and Cat 5 cables, all producing the same result, ie, slow speed.  Firmware is current.

When I bypass the router I see speeds of up to 350 mbps or higher.  Connect the router to the modem, and the speed throttles down below 100 mbps.

Clearly it's the router.

For a device that advertises its claimed capability to deliver "warp speeds", I'm much less than impressed, to say the least, and am actively shopping for a replacement.

Are there any other possible true solutions, or does this Archer AX73 advertise promises it cannot fulfill?
