TL-WA855RE used to extend range of MR200 (3G/4G router mode)
Hi,
I have an Archer MR200 3G/4G router which operates without any issues and can connect to the internet.
Now, I am trying to use the TL-WA855RE as a wifi extender of the MR200 router, but it does not work.
I managed to configure the wifi's password using the tether app, but the extender does not allow any device (if connected to that) to connect to the internet. Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks for the response.
I am trying to use the WPS method so that the extender is connected to the router but I got this as a response:
I literally have the extender next to the router, and tried this several times but fail always.
I wonder, if the problem is because the router is not a simple router but a 3g/4g router.
Not sure, what else to try here. Any ideas?

If the WPS method doesn't work for you, try another one - with a computer web browser or the Tether app.
It doesn't matter that you have a 3G/4G router, you're just using it's 2.4GHz wireless radio to extend its coverage.
By clicking on every icon on the following screenshot you can see the status of the RE setup and troubleshoot if necessary:
