Model: Archer VR2800  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.7.0 0.9.1 v006c.0 Build 210313 Rel.74106n

I have a second hand VR2800 and I am trying to get it linked to my TP-Link ID but I'm getting the error message that it is bound to another ID, how do I get it unbound so I can assign to my ID?

Hey

 

You would be best to contact the seller, they will be required to log into the TP Link account and remove the device from binding.

 

Sadly not a lot you can do from your side

Thanks all, the seller finally got back to me as they remembered that they had used a throwaway email address for their TP-Link ID and gave me the logon and password. Cleared the router from their account and now added to mine so all OK now.
