Where is a list describing how many wifi clients a router can serve?
The FAQ says that under real conditions, 25 clients is the max, but what if I have 30-40 clients?

Which router is a good choice if I have 30-40 devices at 2.4GHz?

Thanks for your reply! But the thread is 2 years old and does not contain anything specific. The last answer also describes the problem in general. However, it does not mention low-traffic IoT devices, which usually require little bandwidth, but there are many of them. They are usually not dropped by the router because it is running out of bandwidth, but because it cannot handle so many connections at once.
Therefore, it would be good to indicate not only the "marketing parameters" but also the maximum number of wifi connections supported. Or it would be enough to create a smart home category for routers. These devices are actually capable of serving 40-60 Wifi connections, and not just in the development lab.
But there is no concrete answer as to whether this or that model is capable of doing this.

Yes, unfortunately there's no actual information about max number of wireless connections mentioned in the general technical parameters for a particular router.

But as the last post in the thread says AX series routers can handle for sure the wireless connections number you mentioned.

These details can be seen in the FW releases, for example:

  @terziyski

So the ax devices have so much power that they can handle 50+ connections.
Thanks for the help!

Choose menu "DHCP→DHCP Clients List", you can view the information about the clients attached to the router in the next screen

ID - The index of the DHCP Client

Client Name - The name of the DHCP client

MAC Address - The MAC address of the DHCP client

Assigned IP - The IP address that the router has allocated to the DHCP client.

Lease Time - The time of the DHCP client leased. After the dynamic IP address has expired,

the user will be automatically assigned a new dynamic IP address

Thanks, but not that's my problem. The problem is that the current device is randomly dropping devices, of which there are currently more than 30. @terziyski wrote the right solution, use ax router.
