Model: Archer A10
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: I dont know and its irrelevant.

I set up my router a while back with my PC and I can manage it with my old phone on the tether app as well. I got a new phone, logged in to the tether app with my tp link account but when I want to manage my router it tells me to enter a password. which I don't remember setting up or needed to be enter on my old phone. So now I can't manage the router with my phone because its telling me to enter a password that I didn't create and don't use! I've tried the normal password to connect to the router, my tp link account password, "admin". None of them work and now I only have one try left and then "Your Device will be locked for 2 hours" Does it lock my phone or my router or what? Wth do I do?

I've also tried the password on the back of it, no luck.

Hello @kenny1513

When accessing the router on the Tether app, you should enter the login username and password when you access the router via a web interface locally.

If that doesn't work, it's suggested go through the troubleshooting suggestions as follows:

What if Tether failed to log in my TP-Link product?
