@Bruce23

Thanks for getting back. I would suggest determining if the issue is caused by the modem router or the wireless router first. Please disconnect the wireless router tp-link_A574 from the tp-link _A87A first, and connect your computer directly to the tp-link _A87A to confirm if the internet connection is stable on that.

If the internet is stable on the tp-link _A87A, then please try configuring the tp-link_A574 to AP mode as follows to monitor the connectivity:

How to configure the TP-Link wireless router as Access Point?

If the tp-link _A87A network is not stable, I would suggest contacting BT to check and ensure the internet is stable from them.

Hello @Bruce23

It seems you got two TP-Link routers, what are their models? Is it a modem and a router? What if you ignore this error message, are you able to connect to the internet?

The tp-link _A87A  is a modem/router and the other one is just a wireless router that significantly extends the wifi. The tp-link_A574 is connected to The tp-link _A87A by WAN port to WAN port, is that right to connect the WAN port this way. The tp-link _A87A is connected to the bt wall socket.

Yes still able to connect to the internet but the internet keeps dropping and I'm wondering if they are set up wrong. I disconnected the wireless router and now only using the modem/router and still the connection drops.
