Deco X50 Outdoor - Available??
The x50 outdoor wifi mesh is available on the tp link website but there is no where to buy it. At least I couldn't come across it anywhere.
This product seems to have been launched in January but yet still unavailable to purchase?
would love to know more about this product if anyone has more information. Looking for an outdoor unit and would go well with the m4's that I have at home.
thanks

An Update ...
Back to Amazon UK ....
https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-Deco-Outdoor-X50-Outdoor-Weatherproof/dp/B0BKPRCS6W/ref=sr_1_2?crid=10E91HSZ7OUJ8&keywords=tp+link+deco+x50+outdoor&qid=1684259223&sprefix=tp+link+deco+x%2Caps%2C137&sr=8-2
What could explain the price tag of £ 285 or approx. 356 USD .... when the very same unit is available in the States for 130 USD ... ???

Its launched everywhere except here in the UK. I can buy it from America right now. Its driving me nuts. I have friends over there that are using theirs right now. They say they are running tests on it or something thats why its not in the UK, well how come they cant just send us the ones in the USA? They work fine there.

I am somewhat amused by those wanting this for outdoor coverage. My X60 system covers my entire property, inside and outside, up to 200 feet from one of the units.

@FitzFoto well it all depends how your house is built. I have thick walls, and a garden that has a lot of "obstacles" where there will be wifi degradation and wont get the speeds or signal hence it would make sense for this to extend the range.

@FitzFoto if they are outside you can probably get 1000ft so thats why. I am somewhat amused that you are amused lol, just because you dont need it, doesn't mean others dont need it.

@markpace501 So is mine, but I have windows and the X60s sit on two window ledges. Anyway, the signal goes through a brick cavity wall, a single brick wall and a double-skinned wood weatherboard and 3/4" OSB wall 150' from the nearest X60, with no significant attenuation (Strong signal reported). I don't use ethernet backhaul. Your mileage obviously varies.

@FitzFoto you shouldn't be amused with the situation, you should be concerned and unhappy that your property is so small that can be covered by a X60.

@Pinheim, actually it is a mesh of five X60s, and I have no need to have WiFi in the back 40, just in my home and my distant studio. YMMV.
