Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.8 Build 20210226 rel.34930(5553)

Hi,

So I am not really sure what started causing this problem. The cable and the router and the speed we're working completely fine until a couple of months ago. Even now when I connect the ISP cable directly to my PC I get the appropriate speed. When I connect the wire to my Archer C6 modem and then connect it to my Sony Vaio laptop using the same cable that I use for my PC I get full speed. Wifi is working just fine. I have researched this subject a lot. I have applied most of the solutions recommended online on the community forum. These include:-

1. Changing the negotiation speed to 1000mpbs.

2. Using wires cat5e and cat6 as well. I have used multiple wires. A cable that gives full speed on my laptop Sony Vaio S series i7 processor and also on my Apple MacBook, does not give full speed on my PC. Macbook pro 2013 model. Specs are attached below.

3. I have also updated firmware and updated drivers on my PC as well.

Please Help!

  @ajaybala7892

Here's a troubleshooting guide on this issue from TP-Link.

If non of these steps work for you there's an instructions on how to reach their tech support regarding this problem.

If the ISP cable goes to your C6 WAN port directly maybe the ISP has changed a network equipment from their side and the two ethernet ports don't cope well.
