does wifi on/off physical button still exist on routers today?

i want to buy TP-Link AC1200 Archer C6 but i have to assure this button exist first.

Here's the Archer C6 v3.2 datasheet - you can clearly see the WPS/Wi-Fi button on the back of the router.

WPS/Wi-Fi On/Off

 

  • Press this button, and immediately press the WPS button on your device. The

WPS LED of the router should change from flashing to solid on, indicating
successful WPS connection.

  • Press and hold the Wi-Fi button for about 3 seconds to turn on or off the

wireless function of your router

"

Thanks. Does WPS/Wi-Fi On/Off button, means turning off wifi? that is, not wireless communication at all?
