Model: Deco X20-4G
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.5 Build 20210708 Rel. 64376

I have a single Deco X20 4G+ configured as 3/4G router which I planned to use as a mobile WLAN and Backup Internet connection.

It works just fine after initial setup.

Once I disconnect it from power, and power it on again its status LED turns to a solid red. The device is inaccessible.

Same effect after reboot via web UI.

Power cycling doesn't help - the device goes invariably into solid red mode.

The only remdy is a HW reset, and a complete new setup. This is not acceptable.

My attempt to upgrade the firmware leads nowhere since it claims to be up-to-date.

Is there a solution to this problem, or shall I return the device?

@ickoochThank you very much for your update.

May I know who is your SIM card carrier?

Later I might need to forward your case to the engineer and could you please send a screenshot of the internet whole page under Deco APP>More>Advanced>internet to support.forum@tp-link.com with the forum ID 541494  before and after Deco LED went to red?

Thank you again and best regards.
