Gateway becomes inaccessible via an unmanaged switch
When an unmanaged external switch is connected to one of the ports, any other devices connected to that switch have no access to the router/gateway. Devices connected via Wi-Fi have full network access, however.
I have tested the unmanaged switch on a different type of router and network and it does function as expected there.
