TP-Link Archer C6 router wifi is disconnecting frequently, say 5-6 times in 15 mins and connecting back automatically in few seconds. The wired connection from the router is working fine at those wifi disconnection times. When disconnected, showing "No internet" or "cant connect to this network" on system tray or Mobile.

I reset the router couple of times and that also didnt work.

Can you please let me know the problem, troubleshooting or any service requirements?

Hi @paavsoutlook

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Here are suggestions for your unstable wireless connection issue:

1. Please login to router web management page >>go to Advanced>>Wireless>>Wireless Settings>>disable Smart Connect>>Observe it is 2.4G or 5G drops the connection

How do I log into the web-based Utility (Management Page) of TP-Link wireless router?

2. In Wireless Settings page, change channel width to lower one and try different channel to find best one.

Note: You can download Wi-Fi analyzer application to analyze which channel is the best one.

3. Keep the router away from microwave ovens and other interference sources (refrigerators, ovens, Bluetooth devices, etc.)

4. Try to adjust the orientation of the antennas for maximum performance. We recommend placing it up high and also placing its antennas at 45 degrees (diagonally) or 0 degrees (straight out parallel to the floor), which will be more effective. Since antennas always transmit weakly at the base, do not place your wireless client device at the bottom of TP-LINK wireless device.
