Revert DNS settings to default (supplied by ISP)
Revert DNS settings to default (supplied by ISP)
I have the AC2100 modem router. I have changed the DNS to watchDNS settings. However there is no option to revert to the default setting where the DNS settings are those set by the ISP. Online instructions from TP-Link show there should be a tick box labeled 'use ISP supplied DNS' or some similar term. My interface does not include this. If I leave the DNS (optional) fields empty I have no service. Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered,

I've had regular disconnections. I called my ISP and had them do a line check. With the VR600 connected (I didn't tell them I wasn't using their supplied unit) they said the line was detecting as lots of faults. I then had them test the line with nothing attached in the house. The line was fin. Once again with my TP-Link connected and they had lots of errors. Once again, without telling them I connected their supplied modem (huwei) and had them run the tests again. This time there were no errors and I have been using it since. It seems my VR600 will be getting returned, :(
