Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 Build 20210719 rel.14861(5553)

I have my WiFi configured so that I have OFDMA Enabled and Smart Connect Disabled.  I have 3 networks set up.  FamilyWireless, FamilyWireless_5G and FamilyWireless_5G_2.

I have tried to configure items so some use 5G and some use 5G_2.  Anything that can't use 5G uses the 2.4 Ghz one.  I am regularly seeing devices using the base 5G one (not 5G_2) saying they cannot access the internet or find the 5G network.

The only thing I can see different in the configs for the networks is the 2.4 Ghz network is hard set to channel 11, 5G us set to Channel Auto and 5G_2 is set to 144(DFS).

I guess I can try to see if I can find an open channel in the first group but didn't know if there was something else I should be looking at?

I might be able to set up a reboot schedule (don't do it currently unless I have to)

Hello @SpaceCowboy74

You are correct, we would also suggest trying choosing a clearer channel for the 5G-1 network, you can install a Wi-Fi analyzer on the phone to scan for the networks around you, then choose one with less interference with them.

Please let me know what is the RSSI or signal strength that you can see when monitoring the 5G network, both the 5G-1 and 5G-2 in the same location.

  @Kevin_Z

I was able to switch my 5G_1 to 52 DFS, though 36 still shows up.  Could this be the RE550 still using the other channel?

I see -15 RSSI for the 2.4 G network
-25 RSSI for 5G1 on channel 52
-75 RSSI for 5G1 on channel 36
-27 RSSI for 5G2 on channel 144.

All channels have a Noise of -82

I notice the RE550 seems to drop sometimes.  Could this be part of the problem?

@SpaceCowboy74

Is the RE550 joining the AX11000 network via Onemesh? Please be sure both the AX11000 and the RE550 are running with the latest official firmware.

To assist and figure it out efficiently, I've forwarded your case to the TP-Link support engineers who will contact you with your registered email address later. Please pay attention to your email box for follow-up. Thank you.
