  @TP-Link

A bunch of cac.

App is worse than useless as it makes promises it does not keep.

And as far as customers are concerened this offshore company does not care about you.

They sell this lowball priced JUNK so they can get into your information stream and that is all they are concerened with.

I should have checked here before buying the product. Luckily, I came here before installing it. I'll be returning it.

  @TP-Link Please add a usable web interface please? I know you don't listen to us anymore, but this is highly requested and for some a must. While the app is servicable, to really configure the routers, we need a web interface.

  @TP-Link

You are not open to any feedback or this thing would be done with a web UI.

The phone app is nice to have, but should not be the ONLY means of management. Those of us who may have trouble with smaller screens, need to be able to use a web browser.

  @jbs7106

They do not care what the customers want.

All they care about is the ability to spy on users.

That said if you want to go through the hassle of using the app with a larger screen you could try screen casting your phone to a pc.

You could also try using BlueStacks, it is a android emulation program that is free to use on pc so you get a bigger screen.

All that said the app sucks no matter what compared to any webUI on any router setup.

It's obvious now that TPLink is owned and controlled by the ChiComs and as such don't care what any of us think.  It's time to boycott all of their spy products.

  @TP-Link The web ui configuration is easier to use because of the larger screen. Features are easier to access because there is room enough all the needed information can be seen at one time. Tasks can be completed without having to change screens several times.

It appears to me that the only value to having the configuration on a cell phone is that you can carry it with you. I have no interest in trying to manage my router from a distant place on a cell phone.
