Model: Archer AX1800
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi, I bought the Archer AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Router and I want to configure it like a access point or a mesh access point. I have a Ethernet cable running from the main router to this router and it is currently broadcasting a new Wi-Fi signal and not extending the main one. I looked at operation mode but I could only switch it to AP mode.

Thanks!

@SolninjaA

You only have  a choice between two modes: wireless router and AP mode. - Case 1.

AX1800 supports OneMesh only in router mode - OneMesh FAQ - Q8/A8 and Q10/A10.

Here's the difference between AP and router mode.

When in AP mode you could set your wireless SSIDs the same as in your main router.
