No internet connection

I keep having no internet connection on set up

I've chosen my server as optus dsl

But when I go to username and password it says incorrect etc. I've tried multiple username and password combinations but nothing

Hi, normally the username would be an email address.

Did you still keep Optus DSL modem, then connect the Optus modem to the LAN port of Deco X20-DSL?

Or the Optus modem has been unplugged already, the DSL port on the Deco has been connected to the ISP directly?
